Are you in the market for a full-size truck that defies expectations? It’s hard to imagine the best-selling Silverado getting any better, but Chevrolet proves it’s possible with every Chevy Silverado EV for sale on our lot. The 2025 Silverado EV offers next-level capabilities, modern styling, better range, and innovative technologies you won’t want to miss. Here’s everything you can expect from this all-electric workhorse in 2025…

#1. Trims and Packages

The 2025 Silverado EV offers broad appeal as Chevrolet expands the lineup with the work-ready LT and the glorious RST. This truck offers two powertrain setups to answer various fleet needs and is treated like a blank canvas that’s easily customizable with optional upgrades and features. Because of this, the Silverado EV LT is the entry-level trim and sets a high baseline with its expansive digital landscape, LED lighting, and 5’11” bed with the Multi-Flex tailgate.

While the Silverado EV LT is well-equipped, the LT Premium Package enhances its versatility in several key areas. The package adds a Chevytec spray-on bedliner and the Multi-Flex midgate with a pass-through that extends the bed’s functionality and seamlessly integrates with the Multi-Flex tailgate. It also adds more trailering tech, including Chevrolet’s in-vehicle trailering app and Super Cruise with Trailering.

Before adding the LT Premium Package, consider the 2025 Silverado EV RST. As a top-tier trim, the RST has every feature imaginable. The interior is well-equipped and tech-savvy, from its expansive digital landscape and plush Evotex seating to advanced driver assistance tools like Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist, which can expertly navigate the truck into and out of any parking space. The blend of handcrafted details and modern tech earns the RST its place as the most opulent workhorse in the family.

#2. Stats and Capabilities

The 2025 Silverado EV defies every expectation of how an electric truck should perform. Chevrolet guarantees as much by equipping the truck with a dual-motor configuration and an Extended-Range or Max-Range battery. The two-motor system places one motor at the front and one at the rear. With the Extended-Range battery, this combination yields an output of 645 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque on the LT, with the RST adding 20 lb-ft of torque in Wide Open Watts mode.

The Silverado EV LT with the Extended-Range battery offers the best towing capacity of 12,500 lbs, with the Extended-Range RST capable of handling up to 10,500 lbs. We see the same advantage with payload, as the LT with the Extended-Range battery can support up to 1,800 lbs and the RST up to 1,420 lbs. Likewise, the RST’s EPA-estimated 390-mile range is just short of the LT’s EPA-estimated 408-mile range.

The Silverado EV RST with the Max-Range battery is worth considering because of its unique blend of performance with an EPA-estimated range of 460 miles. The increased range and the higher output make for an outstanding combination. The dual-motor configuration makes 760 hp and up to 785 lb-ft of instant torque in Wide Open Watts mode. The only caveat is that the RST with the Max-Range battery tows slightly less at 10,000 lbs and supports a 1,500-lb payload, making it less capable than the Extended-Range Silverado EV LT.

#3. Hassle-Free Charging

The 2025 Silverado EV has one of the most impressive ranges in the segment, but how does Chevy make recharging the battery easy? After all, there’s no way of getting around the need to plug in and recharge. Fortunately, Chevrolet simplifies the process in several ways. First, you can install a dedicated Level 2 home charging station and replenish the battery overnight as easily as you charge your smartphone or laptop. Second, this straightforward charging is available nationwide at hundreds of thousands of public charging stations that offer DC Fast Charging, which can add a GM-estimated 100 miles of range in ten minutes.

As a Silverado EV owner, it’s also crucial to consider how the truck can offer exportable power when you need it most. For example, you can use the Silverado EV as a mobile generator during a power outage. This setup is straightforward when you pair the GM Energy PowerShift Charger with the GM Energy Vehicle-to-Home Enablement Kit that can power your home for up to three weeks during emergencies. Alternatively, you can use the Silverado EV’s 10.2 kW of off-boarding power when you aren’t at home, whether you need to power tools, a smartphone, a small appliance, or a radio at a campsite with friends.

#4. Exceptional Ride Quality

The 2025 Silverado EV challenges its namesake by delivering enhanced capabilities on and off the pavement without missing a beat. Chevrolet capitalizes on GM’s modular battery platform to improve the truck’s handling of various situations. For example, the dual-motor four-wheel-drive system optimizes traction in slippery conditions by delivering instant torque to all four wheels. The optional four-corner air ride adaptive suspension continuously reads the terrain and adjusts to improve ride quality. You can also manually adjust the suspension for easier ingress and egress.

The Silverado EV’s performance is also intricately tied to features like Sidewinder and Four-Wheel Steer. It’s easy to assume the Silverado EV is destined to spend its life on the pavement, but even navigating a tight parking space or congested city streets can be difficult. Chevrolet considers those situations as well, with Sidewinder turning all four wheels in the same direction to diagonally move the truck out of a tight space, whether downtown or on the trail. Four-Wheel Steer tightens the Silverado EV’s turning radius, simplifying the process of parallel parking.

#5. Next-Level Functionality

The 2025 Silverado EV instantly turns heads with its bold styling, from its panoramic fixed-glass roof to its rugged stance. Yet, the truck’s design is also remarkably functional and gives drivers every opportunity to take advantage of its brute strength and work ethic. The Silverado EV’s most functional elements are at the back, stretching from the revolutionary Multi-Flex tailgate to the Multi-Flex midgate.

The Multi-Flex tailgate has been a staple in the Silverado lineup for a few years, offering six unique functions that improve how you access the bed. You can use the primary gate like a conventional tailgate, unfold the inner gate to reach further into the bed or use the inner gate as a full-width step. With the primary gate upright, the inner gate unfolds into a flat work surface, or you can use the various load stops to keep longer items in place.

Chevrolet expands the Silverado EV’s functional design with the Multi-Flex midgate, which stretches the truck’s bed length to accommodate cargo up to 10’10”. With a pass-through, the Multi-Flex midgate makes hauling larger items more amenable, whether you recently bought a new couch, are tackling a DIY project at home and need lumber, or are carrying camping gear for a weekend in the woods.

#6. Cutting-Edge Technology

Shopping for a 2025 Silverado EV guarantees climbing behind the wheel of a tech-savvy road warrior designed to keep you engaged, informed, and connected mile after mile. The truck’s expansive digital landscape stretches from the 11-inch Driver Information Center to the 14-inch head-up display and 17.7-inch center touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Google Built-In.

The 2025 Silverado EV also has Chevrolet’s in-vehicle trailering app and an extensive camera system that offers over a dozen unique views around the truck and any accompanying trailer. These features make the Silverado EV trailering-friendly, especially with Super Cruise. The industry’s first true hands-free driving tool, Super Cruise is also the only one to work when trailering; it can detect the additional drag of the trailer, adjusting its parameters for safe, hands-free cruising that you won’t find in any other full-size electric truck.
